I'm alive. After weeks of being inactive, I decided to come back just days before school starts >__>
Eh. This was quickly done. Nothing much -just a sorta refresher after all this time. I've been thinking of what my inital inspiration was for drawing in the first place, and 'Where the Wild Things Are' popped in mind. :/
I am so pumped for the movie. This was like THE best book in my childhood. <3

That's adorable xD. You gave great personality to the characters like I learned in my animation classes. Personality is one of the key elements and you nicely depicted that. Great job both on the drawing and the overall. Perhaps give a bit of shadow on the lower part like where the mane of the little boy is so it gives more depth to the drawing. I believe the light source is directly above. But seriously great work.
Nice texture you, it gives a feeling of a memory-like landscape and image.
I can't wait for the film to be released. It should be an interesting twist to have Spike Jonze from Jackass being the director. Hopefully, it would assure that the movie won't end up being some shitty children's flick. :/
-Thanks, and if you need any info on the class please tell me. How is Dawson College going by the way?
It's too awesome. To be honest I'm really intimidated because a lot of the students are way better than me, but I'm really excited for all of my courses.
Thing is I've spent like 700$+ ish in supplies so far, and I'm the one paying for them, so I am going to be SO broke... I haven't even gotten everything. I think I'm gonna get a tool box to carry all my crap. Brushes, pencils, charcoal, conté, like 10 erasers... uuuuuugh. Let's not forget I need a sketchbook for EACH class. My backpack weighs way too damn much. Say goodbye to my healthy spine.
Holy shit dude! How the hell are you going to carry all that stuff to school and back? Say goodbye to your healthy spine indeed. *__* Umm well. On the brighter side, your not alone. I think it's safe that say that all artists become hunchbacks eventually.
Anyways. I'm sure you'll do great this year, hope its awesome ^^

Good job. As usual, I'm liking your colours. I think I might join your painting class.
